Altaspires started in April 2021, built by two siblings raised on a mix of Asian and European culture. We’ve always been obsessed with fashion, especially the alt scenes popping off in Asia that felt nearly impossible to find here in the West.

It started with an Instagram account (@altaspires), where we posted all the chaotic and beautiful stuff that inspired us. What we didn’t expect? That so many others felt the same. Our community started growing fast, people wanted something different from what you see in the usual shops.

That’s when things got serious.

We began reaching out to designers we’d admired for years. Most were based in Asia, blending goth, punk, streetwear, and weird little twists into shoes that felt like wearable art. And they were down. They loved seeing a whole new audience connect with their work. Now, we work directly with them to bring those pieces to you.

Every pair on Altaspires is made by a creative artist. It’s not mass-produced. It’s not watered down.
